Version Release

I am attempting to develop this book like software, in the sense that I am willing to update it according to versions. At this point I have reached version 1.1 and realize I need a version release section to keep version change updates. From here on forth, all changes will be documented in a version release document.

This book is written for Muslims who have woken up to the need for Islam, not as a passive force, but an active force that can transform society and deal with the present extreme circumstances of our peoples. It is written for those who are seeking to understand where we stand in history and how to make a workable and achievable plan to solve the problems that we face today.

The book is not targeted at non-Muslims, "progressive" style Muslims or extremists and those who condone violence against innocents. Nor is this book a PR or propaganda effort intend to showcase Islam to the world. It does not represent an inter-religious dialog nor an inter-civilizational one.

The ideas and thoughts expressed are intended solely - and solely - for our planning and analysis, in dealing with the difficult and extreme circumstances that we Muslims face today in the world. The ideas and thoughts that this book follows are not completely unique or original but represent a synthesis of thought. The line of thinking that this book follows, as much as this author would wish, is neither new nor totally original; this line of thinking has been expressed in various forms throughout the Muslim world with increasing frequency over the last couple of hundred years. More specifically, this author's thoughts are built on the foundations of such thinkers as Allama Iqbal, Muhammad Asad and Alija Izetbegovic.
